The thousands of motorhomes, vans, busses and caravans of the so-called "snowbirds,” who are often retired and escaping harsh winters in the mid-west and Canada. An added benefit of traveling south for winter is that these often retired snowbirds can head a couple hours further south to Los Algodones Mexico, where they can receive dental, medical procedures and pharmaceuticals at a fraction of U.S. prices
